At The Grove is a one-man instrumental postrock band from Münster, Germany.
Inspired by bands like Russian Circles or Long Distance Calling, the music is characterized by intricate drum rhythms, powerful riffs, and catchy guitar melodies. Driving, high-energy sections that occasionally lean towards postmetal are regularly interrupted by atmospheric ambient elements, providing the listener with space for moments of pause and reflection.
In contrast to many other representatives of the post-rock genre, the tracks are kept compact, averaging around 4-5 minutes in length.
What sets At The Grove apart is that all production steps – from song composition and recording of all instruments to mixing and mastering – are carried out by a single individual.
The band's name is derived from the inspiring environment where the production takes place – a recording studio located at a grove.
"Infinity" marks the third album by At The Grove and is set to be released on September 22, 2023, by the Dutch label De Mist Records.
