Ready to the Way

Chromatic Fields is an instrumental electronic project founded in 2019 by composer Ilya Sakharov. The name of the project is a reference to color (chromatic) fields from color theory, which include different colors and shades in a certain sequence. Chromatic Fields compositions combine various musical elements and directions into a single musical harmony: jazz noir notes are combined with classic hip-hop beats and synthesizer parts.

Ilya has previously featured on Label Cantroll's flagship international compilation Take a Trip. "Ready to the Way" is the debut album. Here you will hear lyrical compositions with keyboard and brass parts combined with synthesized and sampled elements under hip-hop percussion. Together they create a single harmonious picture and offer the listener to take a journey through the musical canvas.
