Slow Motion

The Slow Motion album combines fresh tracks and previously released singles, but with an updated sound. The tracks are inspired by 1940s noir and downbeat electronica. Each tune delves into a world of mystery, drama and urban nighttime romance. The music of Chromatic Fields can be characterised as follows: lyrical compositions with keyboard and brass parts combined with synthesizer elements under hip-hop percussion.

The name of the project Chromatic Fields is a reference to colour chromatic fields from colour theory, which include different colours and shades in a certain sequence. Slow Motion is the author's second numbered album. The debut was called Ready to the Way and was also released on Label Cantroll.
