As a composer, Wîllydây Nâmâlî has consistently been active in scenes : avant-garde & classical. Almost all of his repertoire are rooted in Karawitan and Gamelan, which he infuses with a unique and abstract sensation. Of course, no genre truly compress his innovation.
Apart from his project as an independent composer, Willyday Namali is the founder of Kârâwîtân Küpíng Cûmplêng and Tâbüh Nâmâlî (an art label). He has researched, developed, and created many ‘things’ related to the Karawitan, such as : several instrument designs that have been classified as "Gâmêlân Nâmâlî" (acoustic and digital instruments) ; the "Lârâs Nâmâlî - Nî Ûrâwrîngâ" scale system (44 notes in one octave) ; and "Nõtâsî Nâmâlî" (a new notation system for Gamelan).

Nâmâlî codes for audio :
[G.] = Gâgrâk = The compositional version of a repertoire. [G. I] can be interpreted as an early form (embriyo), whilst other [G.] entries are re-arrangements of the previous [G.].
[R.] = Rîcîkân = A type of audio where several instrument groups are separated during the rendering process, with slight differences during mastering. Audio with this code can be interpreted as a minimalist version (similar to a 'minus one' track but different). It is typically used by composers for educational purposes, for research, or for audiophile collections.
