Seiya -> S.E.I.Y.A.: Subjective Expression Idealist Youth Advanced
Seiya just creates music he'd like to hear on the radio. His inspiration comes from 90s dance music, video games, manga, anime and Japan. His musical influences include Kraftwerk, Daft Punk, Capsule and Perfume.
Seiya began composing computer-assisted music in 1999. He released several singles and amateur albums, including the most emblematic track of this period: “Sylvana”.
It wasn't until February 12, 2014 that Seiya officially released his first single “Shooting Star”, followed by further singles and his debut album “From Outer Space - Part.1” on December 10 of the same year. The album “From Outer Space - Part.2” album followed in 2015, and “From Outer Space (Double Album)”, comprising the first 2 opuses plus 4 bonus tracks, in 2016.
It was also in 2016 that all Seiya singles and albums were released on legals download platforms such as Google Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, Apple Music, etc.
In 2018, Seiya returns with a new album entitled “Dream”. Following disagreements with his label, all Seiya titles are withdrawn from all platforms and will only be distributed on one new download platform.
In 2020, a compilation of unreleased tracks and various demos entitled "Unreleased Collection" is released on a quasi-confidential basis, and Seiya teams up with several people to produce a new album. This new album was released in 2022 under the title “Dorian Gray”. Unfortunately, the team in charge of producing the album could not agree on its distribution and promotion. The album was quickly withdrawn from sale, and Seiya did not recover the rights until June 2024.
25 years after his music debut, 10 years after the release of his first album, and after having freed himself from record companies and unscrupulous producers, Seiya is back!
