The Mythology

Hygienic Product is an electronic music project in which the artist experiments with jungle, drum 'n' bass, and hip-hop genres, striving to transcend classical perception. A resident of the Kos.Mos.Music label. The Mythology, released on Label Cantroll, blends groovy hip-hop with authentic Greek music. It features clarinet, bouzouki, flute, and other instruments. According to the artist, the concept of the release, originally a collection of samples over a beat with a tight bassline, evolved over the course of writing into a mythological concept, with each track seeming to tell its own tale.

"I have a friend from Greece. He has an interesting library of local musicians and acquaintances who are involved in reconstructing ancient Greek music. After hearing this library once, I was so inspired that I wanted to somehow modernize it," says Vitaly Hygienic Product.
