The band: The Act was formed in the summer of 2003 and plays exclusively original songs. The four musicians write together and deliver a rousing live experience. Their sound is rooted in the beat, garage and psychedelic music of the 1960s and also incorporates elements of glam rock, soul, swamp and punk.

The singer and rhythm guitarist is Christoph Kreutzmüller, who shares the vocals with his long-time colleague and lead guitarist Gordon Schade. Dave Allen plays bass and Rob Schmidt replaced Chris Hughes on drums in 2017. The Act have developed an extensive repertoire that reflects the breadth of their talent.
