VVV011 / Horror Italiani ✮ Torso

Eleventh Antistandard Records release is a re-sound and interpretation of an Italian b-movie from a new noise/drone project duo called Horror Italiani.

Their shared love for Italian horror movies and massive drones eventually led Silvio "FERRA-RETO" to invite Michele "BRTHRM" to join Horror Italiani for the alternate score of Sergio Martino’s classic "I Corpi Presentano Tracce Di Violenza Carnale".

✮ Horror Italiani are the joint project between Silvio and Michele, both active in the noise underground scene respectively as FERRA-RETO and BRTHRM (a swiss project focused on experimental noise and sound exploration from harsh noise to dark drones). Silvio hails from Brazil and FERRA-RETO is his way of expression through wall thick droning noise drowned in darkened ambiance, he also provides and endless stream of all kind of noise through his netlabel Nailed Nazarene Industries. Horror Italiani approach floats between meticolous composition and free form jamming, taking advantage of powerful soft synths to track layer of ambience as well as their ability to improvise and navigate through waves of magmatic drones in order to accomplish an heartfelt yet dynamic tribute to their favourite movies.
