Hipless is Jerusalem based producer, composer, and bass player Avner Cohen. Hipless is into Jazz and experimental music and was a member of some great bands in the Israel music scene. While studying Music Production & Sound Engineering at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts & Technology at the renowned Funkhaus in Berlin he caught the techno bug in the citys filthiest clubs.

“Jazz is the mother of techno”, says Avner Cohen. So, no wonder, he is waiting like everyone else for the return of the club scene. Until then, he stays cool, draws, enjoys a beer, and collaborates with musicians around the globe.
