Bikini Farts: Metalcore’s Galactic Messengers

Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Bikini Farts is more than a band, they are a celestial mandate. Forged in a cosmic intervention that defied the laws of physics, the group transitioned from humble beginnings into a powerhouse of extraterrestrial metal.

The Genesis: A Cosmic Pivot

The foundation was laid in January 2025 when drummer Scum Puppy sought collaborators for a progressive bluegrass project via Craigslist. He was joined by Dingus Maximus (Bass/Vocals), Lord Bat Wings III (Guitars), and Cookie Jarvis (Guitars). Originally performing as Flatt & Scruggs’ and the Polyrhythmic Possums, their trajectory shifted forever in February 2025.

Following their debut, the quartet witnessed an unidentified craft over Michigan. After three hours of "missing time," the band awoke with a "psychic download" from the Galactic Round Table. The instructions were absolute: abandon the banjo, rename themselves Bikini Farts, and pivot to Metalcore.

The Sound and The Mission

Bikini Farts delivers a sonic assault of crushing breakdowns and otherworldly technicality. Their debut single, "Shart Attack!" (November 2025), established their identity, while the "Sulphur Dreams Mix" was featured on the Hoobie Records compilation, Pigfoot Sloppy Poop Finger Woodbooger Upper Decker.

Live Dominance

After dominating the Midwest circuit, the band solidified their status at Hoobiepalooza 2026. Their stage show is a high-decibel tribute to their alien benefactors, featuring Scum Puppy’s unique kit, blending traditional drums with Tupperware, and the dual-guitar onslaught of Bat Wings III and Cookie Jarvis.

Official Representation

Bikini Farts is an official Hoobie Records artist. All recordings, including their discography produced and mastered by Scum Puppy, are released and managed exclusively by the label.
