Mayhem

This album is a collection of the tracks that I still have left from when I was a teenager (I'm now in my 30's). The sound quality isn't the greatest, and I didn't really know what I was doing. I had rudimentary equipment and editing software. But looking back on the turmoil and violent surroundings that I survived during that time and considering what I had to work with - I'm impressed with the weird stuff I was able to conjure up!

At that time I was self conscious and didn't allow myself to like what I was making much. But now, I do like this stuff! And before I start creating new music I feel like I owe it to younger me to release my old creations into the world.

Music was a way for me to express my emotions and at that time I was feeling a slew of them - mostly stress, fear, confusion, sadness - but also curiosity and budding confidence as I realized I could craft myself as a person and put pieces of myself into my art. My life was a certain sort of Mayhem at that time, and now I'm letting you in to get a glimpse of it!
