The third release of Antistandard Records is made of unusual sounds for an apparently electronic-music-only digital label: we have the HC band Backjumper from Bari releasing their fifth studio work with this EP.

Written, recorded and performed fully by the band in one take, in their rehearsals room, "Scorpion Democracy" is the manifesto of what this is all about, standing still. 100% in your face without tricks and gimmicks.
And exclusively for Antistandard, available only in digital edition a bonus track extracted from their release show.

✮ Hailing from Bari, South Italy, Backjumper's still one of the most long-lived underground project. Born in 2003, they've toured relentlessly Italy and Europe opening shows for acts such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sick of it All, Municipal Waste, Unearth, Cancer Bats and even got the chance to play at legendary Wacken Open Air 2013 in Germany with Rammstein, Deep Purple, Motorhead and Lamb of God.
After debut EP and 2006 "Trust No1", they've released three albums from 2009 to 2014 fueling their live-thrilling machine: 2018 marks the band's comeback with this fast and furious new EP.

The second release of Antistandard Records is an EP by the sicilian and Milan based producer MOU.

Cassandra used to foresee the future, but she was cursed so nobody believed her. Troy fell.
Every day we interact with social media, politics, modern technologies and a constant lack of privacy, aware that it’s about control over our contemporary society. We foresee our fall and we know it will happen, sooner or later, maybe while playing Bubble Crush taking a shit. We repeat this every day in our minds but at the same time we continue on our daily routine, cursed not to believe our consciousness.
We’re all Cassandra, waiting for the end to come.

✮ Moon of Utopia, aka MOU, used to make beats since he was 14, playing around with chopped samples and big kick drums. Inspired by the sound of the 90’s downtempo and Mark Fisher’s writings, his music is a sonic journey through our contemporary society, a jungle of reverb, digital noise and bass synths. He’s 30 but still searching for some answers.

✮ Think'd brother from another mother Nuncha aka Panacef Mishima, partner in crime with the Unctrl Alt Canc project, one of the first bass music crew in Italy, and also Pure Wool Garden label owner, begins the Antistandard adventure with a smartphone vocal recording on insane SP-404 breaks and samples, mad kicks including. Let's help him together to find a girl, asap.

✮ Another bizarre lovely brother L O S C I, born from the ashes of GIORGIO and also known as Dummy E. Sordee with his comics skecthes, enhances the "Antitracks A" EP creating a freestyle grimey production with peaks of random experimentation, made in Pure Wool Garden home studio.

✮ With two EPs straight self-released with the M.O.A.N. moniker with the Think'd rap on it (bit.ly/2EUbfYf - bit.ly/2Fv1KLX), Hypertone remixing a dialect grime stuff for the VVV001. Based on the Royal-T "Shotta" remix by Kahn & Neek, he review in a melodic/soundtrack key the entire structure, maintaining the original track's violence also for the lyrics.
