De La Morra EP

Label boss Jon Salem captures the primordial essence of what it means to be Tech House with his latest EP, De La Morra. In a striking way, this simplistic yet effective EP manages to do exactly the job it’s intending. Starting off with title track, De La Morra is a low driven high-set bouncer. It features a main drive through a series of synths, stabs and dancing hats. This is quickly followed up by Rithma, the ying to De La Morra’s yang. Rithma takes the off-beat path, featuring a jumpy bass melody that is lead by hard hats and delayed stabs. Each track fits within its own right to and against each other; essential to have for the bounciest of sets.
