When I was 16-17 years old I started singing, at that time my father had already taught me how to play the guitar, but drums was the instrument I chose at age 13. Singing was a different challenge, you had to train and use your voice like an instrument. A group of us called the Acaciaville Conway Youth Organization (ACYO) joined the church and formed a youth choir. We had an incredible music director, She was gifted and inspired me to this day, create my own music. I remember the out of town trips, to other churches, where we sang, beautiful the sound of our voices, young males and females, in perfect harmony. I thank you Jesus, for letting me, be myself again.
