Producer, percussionist, photographer, performer Dj Ricardo Imperatore is part of that restricted authorial musicians who perform a unique repertoire with remixes and a balance of the perfect fusion between Brazilian and world music with global beats. Since 1995 Imperatore has collaborated with artists such as Mario Caldato, Natalie Cole, Susanne Vega, Man At Work, Midnight Oil, Marisa Monte, Titãs, Tom Capone, Monobloco among others. Since 2000, Imperatore has developed the BOTECOELETRO project. Influenced by the dif- ferent aspects of Brazilian and world music, from pop to root folk, passing through the erudite, and earned BOTECOELETRO the Best Electronic Album Award of 2005 at the Brazilian Music Award. 2012; Imperatore es BOTECOELETRO Vol. 2, also nominated for best electronic album in the 2013 edition of the Brazilian Music Awards. Imperatore has performed Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia: Reunion Islands, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Istanbul, Tokyo, Hamburg, Bar- celona, Vienna, Turin, Bologna, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Porto, Split, Copenhagen, Antwerp, Liechtenstein, Mexico City, La Paz, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and Brazil- ian major cities.
