In certain circles of late nights and dubbed cassettes, Tim Krug is known simply as Halicon. It's a moniker he's donned since the mid '90s for creating solo electronic music heavily inspired by artists and labels such as Autechre, Rephlex, Warp, Aphex Twin, and N5MD.
Though his output has been sporadic over the past 20+ years, to say the least, he's been consistently writing and recording and stockpiling tracks without a proper outlet or goal in mind, while publicly focusing more on his various indie rock (Oh Condor), synth punk (Brainiac), and industrial bands (Hexadiode).
