Echomatics is a Drum & Bass producer from Vancouver, Canada - the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. Echomatics has been exploring electronic music for over 20 years. Music has always been a motivation and outlet for him, starting in his early 20's after meeting a fantastic sound engineer who blessed him with his first computer and a copy of Cubase. Since that moment, creating music has been a crucial part of his life and kept him going through the good and bad times. Over the past few years, with the motivation of his extraordinary life partner, he worked up the courage to share his passion and love for music and Drum & Bass. As a Dad, he likes to try and make music that even his kids get excited about. Liquid Drum & Bass is one of his biggest influences, but many amazing artists kept his soul whole. Artists like Mad Professor, Andy C, Aphrodite, DRS, DJ Trance, Voodoo Warriors of Love, and Bad Data. He is blessed and honoured to be supported by many amazingly unique producers in the BSA gang and by labels such as 4Corners, Fokuz, Celsius, 170+ Recordings, C-Recordings, Beats In Mind, DNBB & Soul Deep.
